Suburban Testing Labs Ranks #10 on GRCA’s Top Businesses List
We are thrilled to announce that Suburban Testing Labs has been ranked #10 out of 45 on the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance’s (GRCA) Top Businesses list, which was announced today in the Reading Eagle. This recognition is a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence and growth in the field of environmental testing.

Awards will be given at the GRCA’s Annual Dinner on May 22, 202, the largest gathering of business leaders in the region. This year’s dinner will feature Keynote Speaker Brian Westbrook, former Philadelphia Eagle and all-pro Running Back.
“Ranking in the top 10 is a significant achievement, showcasing our ability to sustain growth and deliver exceptional value year after year,” said Sara Kuzma-Stump, who also serves as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors for the Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which is part of the Alliance.
About the GRCA Business Excellence Awards
The GRCA Business Excellence Awards recognize outstanding companies headquartered in Berks County. Leah Fassnacht, GRCA’s Director of Communications and Marketing, highlighted the importance of these awards: “It’s just another way the GRCA likes to recognize our great business community. It’s not every day companies get recognized for something like this… It’s always exciting, competitive.”
The awards, a collaboration between the GRCA and KPMG LLP, involve a thorough review of revenue statements. KPMG uses an algorithm to calculate growth totals, ensuring a fair and comprehensive evaluation process.
GRCA members can nominate businesses based on their annual revenue and percentage growth over the past three years. This approach ensures that recognition is not merely based on total revenue but also on the consistent growth that companies have achieved year over year. “I think that’s the only fair way to do it,” Fassnacht added. “It’s not necessarily the company that has made the most revenue, it’s about showing growth year over year.”
